Why we started
I'm Simas Zavistauskas. I started Steel & Acre in 2026 after looking at how steel buildings are sold online. The buildings are good. The buying experience often isn't: slow callbacks, vague lead times, and site and permit problems that only show up on install day.
So we built the dealer we'd want to buy from, for Metal America's buildings. You get an answer within one business hour, a written price, Metal America's current estimated lead time, and a checklist for your site before you pay anything.
What we are, and aren't
- Steel and Acre LLC, a California company, is an independent, non-exclusive dealer for Metal America. We're not Metal America staff, and we don't make the buildings.
- Every building is made, delivered and installed by Metal America. Your contract is with Metal America, and its written warranty (10 years, per its 2026 brochures) stands behind the building.
- We design it with you, quote it, handle the order, and stay your contact until it's installed.
How we're paid
Metal America pays us a commission on each building, built into its pricing. We don't charge you a separate fee.
What we won't do
- No fake "sale ends tonight" countdowns, discounts or special deals. We quote Metal America's current pricing only.
- No made-up reviews. We're new, so we don't have customer reviews yet. They'll appear here once real customers leave them.
- No pressure. A quote is just a quote.
