How it works

From first message to install day: who does what, and when you pay.

  1. Day 1

    Tell us what you need

Use the quote form or the 3D designer. Size, use, ZIP code and timeline are enough to start.

  2. Within 1 business hour

    Design, price and lead time

You get a 3D design, a written price from Metal America's current pricing for your ZIP code, Metal America's current estimated lead time, and our site and permit checklist. The quote lists what's included and what isn't.

  3. When you're ready

    Check your site and permits

Before any deposit, confirm you can get a level site and a permit if your county needs one; you're responsible for confirming local requirements. Engineered drawings and certifications are included. Site prep guide.

  4. Order

    Approve and pay the deposit

You sign Metal America's order and pay the deposit it sets. Your contract is with Metal America. Your Metal America contract includes a 48-hour cancellation window: cancel within 48 hours of signing and your deposit is refunded. After that, the deposit is non-refundable.

  5. Order to install

    Prep while it's built

Metal America confirms your order and schedules production. You prepare the base. We check in and pass on any updates from Metal America as soon as we hear them.

  6. A few days before

    Install window confirmed

Metal America's installer contacts you to confirm the day. Clear the site and the truck path.

  7. Install day

    The crew builds it

Metal America's crew delivers and builds it, free anywhere in the continental U.S. Large shops take longer than garages. Walk through it with the crew when they finish.

  8. On completion

    Pay the balance

The balance is due to Metal America as written on your order.

If dates move

Weather and production delays happen. We'll pass on Metal America's updated estimate as soon as we hear it, not a vague "soon".

If your site isn't ready on the day, tell us early; rescheduling is easier than a return-trip fee.
